This is the biggest event of the year for the Bay State Antique Auto Club. Open to both the young and the old, regardless of whether or not one owns an antique or classic car, the show welcomes families to peruse the vehicles, perhaps inspiring the next generation to take up the mantle of preserving our automotive history.

The show is so large that it offers thirty classes, complete with judging and trophies. It’s one of the largest single-day shows in the entire Northeast. Vehicle owners often stand by their automobiles, happy to explain their entry and point out their special features, and the stories exchanged are often fascinating.

The Dick Shappy Classic Cars & Motorcycles Team brings its 1917 Locomobile, a rare and storied Model 48 dual-cowl Sportif. Its body was made here in Massachusetts, in Watertown, by Farnham and Nelson for the owners of the Rexall Drug Company, hence the unique Pacific Coral and Slate Grey paint.
