On October 12th, 2025, the New England Concours d’Elegance hosted a landmark moment: the first-ever showing of Dick’s one-of-a-kind 1929 Duesenberg Model J-268. This chassis, with its storied journey from junkyard to concours star, won the prestigious “Grand Marshal” Award, presented by Chasing Classic Cars host Wayne Carini.

No other J Duesenberg matches J-268’s provenance, and its debut captivated attendees. Wayne praised its restoration: “This car doesn’t just shine—it tells a story.” The event, a showcase of pre-war American luxury, saw Dick’s masterpiece steal the spotlight.
